"Wonderful old school feel with new vibes. This location was the first place I ever got a haircut from in my life. Funny enough, my favorite barber, Lee took over this shop after leaving his previous shop I was going to and it just so happened it was the first shop I had ever been to! Love the nostalgia. The location is very convenient on Central Ave in proximity to the Plaza Midwood area. Lee Millsaps and the army of other highly skilled barbers do an amazing job. This place makes me feel like Charlotte always has in my mind. Feels like home when I visit here. I will and have drove distance to get my haircut here. Always walk out looking and feeling fresh!"

"Beware! This is a chopshop not a barbershop. I explicitly told the barber how I wanted my hair cut. Instead, he took clipers and shaved the sides and back of my head. I look like a Drill Sargent in Pair Island. Not everyone wants this look! This is the worst haircut in my 65 years I told him not to do this and he did it anyway. Obviously, this is all he knows about cutting hair."
"Lee is the man! I stopped in here recently after going about 8 months without a haircut. Needless to say, I looked like Garfunkel. I had no real idea of what I wanted and pretty much left the creativity up to Lee. Even though I gave him little direction, he did an outstanding job, and I can confidently say it is the best haircut I have ever had in my life. As for the shop itself, it's got a pretty distinct look inside and out. The atmosphere is also laid back and you will feel comfortable being here."
"Great barbershop with a great group of guys working there. Old fashioned mnoen's barbershop with a relaxed atmosphere and friendly banter. These guys really take their time to make the haircut look great, I started coming here a few months ago and won't get my hair cut anywhere else. They also do great work with men's beards. Tip: Ask for Keenan, he's great and worth a wait if he has an appointment"
