Burke County Friends for Animals is the only non-kill Humane Society and animal shelter in the Greater Burke County area, located at 417 Kirksey Drive in Morganton, North Carolina. Founded in 1997 by Toni and Ed Davis, the organization has since grown into one of the largest no-kill shelters in Western NC, providing the very best loving care to all animals in need. If you're looking to add a furry friend to your family, we have a variety of cats and dogs ready for adoption. Our team is always seeking community help and support, so consider volunteering or donating to our cause. Our adoption center is open Wednesday to Friday from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, Saturday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Sunday from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.
