"The house is lovely, location is perfect, kitchen is very well stocked for whatever you want to cook. The only thing to improve upon is cleanliness of the kitchen. I realize we are at the end of the season but I felt that I needed to clean the pantry drawers before putting food in. Overall, a great house...just a beautiful, well used kitchen that needs a deep clean."

"Very relaxing! Great location! Only thing I would recommend is owners investing in better pots and pans or renters bringing their own. We are big into cooking fresh meals and found the kitchen a little bit of a challenge. Not complaining at all! We enjoyed our break from 102 degree heat and humidity!"

"This house has incredible views which is what we wanted. The internet is spotty at best. Couldn’t make or receive calls 95% of the time. We have AT&T and have never had issues in past rentals in Highlands. Possibly the house had been left unoccupied for sometime before our arrival. There was lots of dust and dirty sheets on the king bed. We’ve traveled all over have never experienced dried blood and insects on sheets. I washed and vacuumed and all was good. The table on the deck needed a big scrub before we could use it. Again it could be from lack of use. The ant problem in the kitchen really should be looked into as well. This house has charm and is conveniently located to the grocery and downtown. We also liked the fact that the road is paved. All in all a good rental. From now on I’ll check the sheets thoroughly before getting into bed. Landmark was very attentive when I made them aware of the issue. Without phone service I was not able to notify them earlier."

"We stayed at The Good Time Cabin and enjoyed it immensely. The house is spacious and very comfortable. It’s the perfect mix of a cabin feel with all the modern amenities. The kitchen is large and has all the utensils and gear to make memorable meals. The large island was a gathering place for sure! The rooms are very comfortable with views galore. We all slept in everyday and honestly could have stayed in bed all day, but with so much to do in the area, we couldn’t let that pass us by. The cozy gas fireplace set the mood for our party of 6 every night where we enjoyed all the creature comforts of streaming television as well as cable favorites. The seating outside were our favorites with a grill and dining table on one side and couch and deep seats with a gas fire tabletop on the other. There is a wood fire pit out back with seating, but one of us had a broken leg so we didn’t use it although we will next time as we plan on staying again. The views are so beautiful, we didn’t want to leave. Highly recommend this welcoming home for your next gathering in an amazing location."

"Recently stayed with Landmark at Misty Mountain. The cabin I stayed in was incredible. 3 bedrooms 2 1/2 baths with great wooded views. The people at Landmark were amazing. I am not used to the cold, so they even gave me additional blankets to stay warm. Location is incredible. Just minutes from several waterfalls, and amazing views of the mountains."
