Holiday Inn Express Leland - Wilmington Area, an IHG Hotel

"Stayed overnight here and was happy that my room was ready early to get work done. Very clean hotel and the service (Tony) was awesome! Although the waiting and break area was under construction, they accommodated for the delicious and fresh breakfast perfectly. Highly recommend!"

"Not very clean, my shoes stuck to the floor at the entrance. I used the towel in the picture to clean it. There were bugs crawling around. The drain in the shower was stopped up. Watch out for cameras."

"Well the room was very clean , yet when we took a closer look there was not one trash can in the room anywhere . Location was nice , had a gas station right next to it was in the heart of town seemed and had anything I needed at just a short drive . Came to town for a funeral , my step fathers . I had extended my stay an extra night and needed to get new keys..I then decided to extend one more night as my vehicle was being worked on..The assistant manager Elizabeth asked me how i extended previously and when I told her I just called the front desk she immediately got an attitude and proceeded to tell me I did not extend it that way and i needed to go onto the app to make a whole new reservation. When I tried to explain this is not how I had done it the night before she continued to get a major attitude and told me to just go ahead and check out and as I told her I did not have a way to leave yet (no car) ((it was about 5:30am)) and she insisted i check out or she would call the police if I didn’t yet I didn’t have a room key to get into my room in order to check out .. she then made me wait for her manager to arrive which I found out she had told her I was screaming at her over the front desk uncontrollably . Her manager showed up and corrected her and made it right with me and needless to say I got to stay until 11 check out but she is awful to customer"

"Front desk staff were excellent. I arrived very late in the evening without a reservation but they found me a room which was clean and quiet. I am a IHG regular patron and was welcomed as a platinum level guest which was appreciated. I will recommend this hotel to friends and family who come to visit."

"I have never stayed at an express location but it was just about perfect. The front desk associates were professional, quick to help and kind. The indoor pool was clean and the kids loved it. The cleaning staff were kind and quickly assisted if we were out of towels and such. The breakfast bar was stocked well and had quite a few selections and varieties. And...it is just a hop, skip and jump from Wrightsville Beach and Carolina. We will be returning....not to mention great prices on the newly renovated rooms!"
