    Great Bear Recreational Trails

    ★★★★☆ 4.7
    Open

“Great park with lots of trails, some fairly wide and level. Lots of cool historical landmarks including a canal lock, remains of a spring water bottling company, and old stone house foundations can be seen along with interpretive signs. Some of the smaller, more winding trails can be a bit confusing and I’m not always sure the trail maps are completely accurate. The trails you Whiskey Island were very muddy when I went there.”

    Mexico Community Park

    ★★★★☆ 4.6
    Closed

“I've been to the Mexico community park with my class twice this year and it is very nice. Lots of room for what we were doing and mowed. There were bathrooms and even a playgroud. There are however reservations for the park. So if soemken reserves it you can't use that part of it. But otherwise the park is an amazing place to be.”

    Oak Hill Park

    ★★★★☆ 4.5
    Open

“Beautiful park for playing kids around 2-8 years old. Good spots for picnics, there's a spray fountain in the summer, and a gazebo. There is also a little free library where you can give or take books. There is a trashcan on site, but you may want to bring a bag for any surprise messes left behind by the unchaperoned kids.”
