"I cannot tell you how much I am thankful for this place. I adopted two kittens from 10 Lives Club only for them to pass away a week later. 10 Lives then tried to blame it on us (my roommate and I) that they got sick, not them for no doing texting when they brought them up from the southern states. The vet told us the incubation period and there is no way we gave it to them since we have no other pets in our apartment prior. After mourning my children I went looking. No place wanted us as the virus can stay in our home for a year. Then comes Pets Alive. Not only was every person friendly, they knew of similar situations people have been put in and were very understanding. Roxie answered any questions I had and made me feel so much better knowing I did everything I could for my kittens before they passed. This place allowed me and my roommate to adopt even knowing our story, explaining an older cat (a year or older) who has all their shots would be completely fine. We've had our Georgiana for almost a year now and she's the best cat I could hope for. They handle all their cats and socialize with them daily. They do fantastic work and I cannot recommend them enough. I know this is a long post but I wanted to inform people to do research on their cat shelters and get to know who handles the cats. This place is serious with their interview process because they care so much and don't allow adoptions if they feel like the cat will not have a great home. I respect that considering they could have said no to us but they knew we'd do anything for our cat. These animals mean so much more to them."

"I don't understand the terrible reviews. This place sets cats up for success, not failure. And they want to be sure the adopter is vetted properly, most people think cats are some easy animal to own who don't require much care. This is the furthest thing from the truth, and they are super up front about that! They also are openly honest about cats personalities and temperaments. Which is so much appreciated, why cause the potential for stress on cats and unsuccessful adoptions? I went twice before adopting my baby. They were friendly, knowledgeable and thorough the whole time. We have plans to adopt more in the future, and would gladly use pets alive."
