Value Vision - Your Local Eye Doctor - West Seneca

"Scam!! Made my 2 year exam appointment and was scheduled for today. When checking out, I was advised that I have a co-pay as they had to bill my insurance. I told the lady I had a routine eye exam and my exams are covered through my union. The response I received was it was a medical appointment rather than routine because I told them about an issue I was having when making my appointment so the doctor billed my insurance. I asked if I would have made my exam appointment and not mentioned my issue but waited until I arrived to tell the doctor what would have happened? They told me it would have fell under my vision insurance and no copay. I should have known better when this same lady (S) took my health insurance information when i made the appointment. I asked why she needed this and was told in case they find a medical issue during my exam that isn't covered by my vision insurance. Again, the receptionist advised me I told her of an issue while making my appointment and another staff member advised me to never tell anyone that again. This place only wants the money From you and your insurance. I will not be returning to these crooks and will inform all my colleagues who are patients here as well."

"This most recent visit was great. My glasses arrived sooner than anticipated which is always nice (although being that the lenses/glasses are done in a lab off site it can take time and I do understand that is out of their control sometimes) and yet my glasses arrive early. I have had nothing but great experiences with Value Vision. Myself and my family have been going to them for years. They are all wonderful and have been great with my boys too. Way back in Covid days, when our glasses arrived during the whole Covid shutdown, a staff member personally delivered to my home!!! Wonderful staff, great service, highly recommended!"

"Their service is horrible. They don’t care about patients. I had an appointment and they told me my insurance had some problems but I called my insurance company they contacted with them and at last one of the staff told that was their fault and they will be rescheduled my appointment but they never call me. It just waste of time. I never experience this type of service from any doctor office"

"It has taken over 3weeks and I still don’t have my glasses. I never had to wait more than a week and a half, even in the 80’s. I have a feeling the just for got to send them out. But don’t be honest with me just push the blame off and make it someone else’s problem. Well I’m done with value vision."
