"Shakespeare in Delaware Park is one of the oldest of the free Shakespeare companies in the country, and their shoes never fail to entertain. They usually have one performance in period garb, and another in modern or some other time (or one year they had a steampunk theme) but it's still the unchanged words. It's usually good to get there early to be sure to get a good piece of hill, and they've set up a designated area for 'no chairs' near the stage, making it easier to see. I am always amazed at how diplomatic the staff are in dealing with troublesome guests. While the hill is in a public park, they go to great lengths to be accommodating to guests who have maybe taken or drank too much of some substance that's impaired their ability to be a reasonable member of the audience, helping to preserve the experience for everyone else."
