Once the summer retreat of John Ellis Roosevelt and his family, Meadow Croft features a charming 19th-century farmhouse and an exquisite 1891 addition designed by Isaac H. Green, Jr. of Sayville. The estate also includes historical structures such as a carriage house, an auto house, a caretaker's cottage, and a swimming pool. Owned by Suffolk County and maintained by the Suffolk County Parks Department, Meadow Croft stands as a testament to the collaborative efforts of the Bayport-Blue Point Heritage Association.
