Farmingdale Child Care, also known as The Children's Center at Farmingdale State College, is a non-profit institution located on the campus of Farmingdale State College in New York. We offer a secure and stimulating environment for children aged 8 weeks to prekindergarten. Our curriculum, based on the Creative Curriculum, focuses on all areas of child development and early learning. Priority enrollment is given to children of FSC students, faculty, and staff, but we also welcome children from the community. LEWIS WILSON TECHNOLOGICAL CENTER
Lewis Wilson Technological Center, located at 7200 Grumman Lane in Farmingdale, New York, is a specialized school offering a unique Aircraft/Drone Technology Program. Students enrolled in this program will learn to service, repair, and overhaul both reciprocating and turbine engines in classrooms located at Republic Airport. This program provides hands-on experience with the engines used in powerplants across the country, and prepares students to obtain an FAA Powerplant license. Upon successful completion of the program and enrollment in a college or university, students may receive up to 64 credits due to Federal License Regulations. Lewis Wilson Tech has Articulation Agreements with various post-secondary institutions offering degrees in Aviation Technology and Aeronautical Science, providing students with advanced standing opportunities.
