Our district is dedicated to fostering a positive and safe environment that encourages all learners to strive for excellence. We are proud to announce that Theodore Roosevelt Elementary School has been recognized as a Leader in Me Lighthouse School by FranklinCovey Education, showcasing our commitment to leadership and student empowerment. In recognition of outstanding service, Denise McCowan, President of the Cheektowaga-Sloan Board of Education, has been honored with the Diana R. Miller Service to Education Award for 2024. Our community is also grateful to Dr. Dennis Dulniak, a John F. Kennedy High School graduate (Class of 1969) and President of Nana’s Books, for his generous donation of 1,349 grade-appropriate books to our students at Theodore Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson schools.
