The New York, Westchester & Boston Railway, a project surrounded by intrigue and backed by influential figures such as J.P. Morgan, operated from 1912 to 1937. Despite its relatively short lifespan, this railway played a crucial role in the region's commuter infrastructure. After its closure, much of the railway was forgotten, with sections integrated into the New York City Subway and others reclaimed by nature.
