"Today was my third time in this store. I was checking out an Led with a transformer and had to open the box to see if the transformer could get installed in my garden. A person just approached me with no Lowes identification and started asking me why am I opening the box. I was really surprised at being interrogated like that. I have been to Home Depot for more than 70 times in last three years, but nobody ever came and asked me this and in my third time here at Lowe’s. The gentleman came and asked me and I asked him do you work here because you don’t have any identification on you he says yes I do and I don’t need to show you any identification that I am an employee here and I’m asking because lotta people don’t put it back in the box. I personally think he was trying to accuse me of something which was totally out of line very disappointing experience at Lowe’s. They did not make me feel welcome as a customer. This store would definitely not be my top choice to visit there again."

"I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the customer service provided by Elizabeth, the manager we visit the store on Sat 1/27/24 at 6:30pm. My recent encounter with her was marked by a 45-minute wait for assistance with a simple transaction. Upon her arrival, I was met with an exceptionally rude attitude, making it the worst customer service experience I have ever encountered."

"Look for a toolbox at the garden city Lowe’s and the box had a huge dent, knowing it would likely be dented in the future anyway I decided to see if I can get it for a discount. After waiting around for 30 minutes with no help, 1 nice rep told me they may discount but I needed somebody in the tool department, after another 20 minutes a man finally came to the department not a single can I help you the entire time, then after asking him he says if it’s the last one we can’t sell then scans and says there is 2 left but they aren’t selling it anyway??? What does that even mean? Tool boxes are always floor models and I have never had to wait for it to be pulled from the back with previous purchases at other locations. This Lowe’s is a No for me."

"Home depot competitor. Not quite. Prices are pretty much the same. Customer service, bit better. No tool rentals. Much smaller nursery. Maybe suppliers do not accept consignments. Merchandise well stocked and aisles clearly labeled."

"One of the better Lowe's Home Improvement stores in New York (at least way better than the one in the Queens area). I went there early in the morning (after I was unable to find what I needed in Queens store) and I was out of the store literally in 5 minutes with my stuff. The store was well maintained and stocked. Self checkout was also easy and convenient to use. Help is also available if needed."
