"To: Dr. Valentina Boguslavskaya Horrible horrible treatment. The fact that you actually put your life on the providers. You actually expect them to at least care for your care. My mother does not speak English and they did not have a translator so my mother gave consent so I could speak on her behalf and relate messages. When the provider was relating the message via phone she was speaking super fast and dismissing me right away. I proceeded to stop her and inform her she is speaking very fast and I wanted to confirm information. She than rudely informed me she does not have all day to be explaining it to me. She explained it once and has other pts she needs to see she already “WASTED” 30 mins of her time with my mother. I informed her she is being unprofessional you can not just dismiss a pt without even acknowledging that the pt may have other questions or does not fully understand something. Especially saying you just wasted your time. That is fully disrespectful, unprofessional and inconsiderate. She sounded very annoyed when I asked for her name again and informed me why do you need my name I introduced myself once, I don’t have to inform you again. This continued back and forth until I informed her you know what it’s ok if you don’t have time for my mother that’s fine. She keep being rude and brushing me off. I informed her the same way your arguing with me your wasting your time. Instead of doing that you could have wasted your time helping her understand. She than informed me if you do not like my work you can leave and find another provider. It amazes me when a pt meets a doctor in the field that really only does it for the money and has no care for your health. She definitely sounded racist. Hope no one has to go to this office to get aggravated and experience this. Dr. Valentina Boguslavskaya you should try treating others how you would like to be treated or how you would like someone treating your mother and do not get upset when you are being spoken back to after you initially being disrespectful especially acting like my mother’s life is a waste of time."

"My husband was seen this past week. He explained that he was there for a general check due to the fact that he didn't have a Primary Physician. First of all you close the door when speaking with a patient, which is part of your HIPAA privacy, other patients should not have to hear you're conversation in the lobby area. Very displeased with the service of patients. It wasn't like this when I first moved here in 2014"

"In my experience: Pros - they seem to take covid safety very seriously - in-house bloodwork, EKG, etc. (This should be standard everywhere) - relatively short wait times Cons - Boguslavskaya (probably, she has never introduced herself). Whenever I've come in over the years, she's always seemed to be there, and I have never had a good experience with her. I have found her to be extremely condescending, unaware of recent research trends, distrusting, and altogether uninterested in building rapport. She would also do bloodwork even when it was completely unnecessary, and would not take "No" for an answer. Every time I left her office I needed to seek additional information regarding whatever I came in with from other PCPs. However, based on her other reviews, it would appear that others have received better treatment from her than either I or those close to me have. Still, I regret having given her as many chances as I have. :("

"Dr. Paikin (Staten Island office) has been our most trusted physician for years: patient and compassionate. He has thorough medical knowledge, but is less aggressive than many younger American doctors. The new appointment system is a big improvement over the bad old walk-in days, when you could wait for hours."

"Very convenient and friendly. I've see all 3 doctors there and the NP and all of them were super nice and knowledgeable and were able to help. A little bit on the down side the wait time could be long sometimes, but this is just the nature of the beast. It is not a factory where you can time everything out because while you wait they are helping previous patients just like someone else will be waiting while they help you."
