The Amboy 4-H Environmental Education Center, located in Williamstown, New York, is a 150-acre park owned and operated by the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego County 4-H Program. With mixed woods, wetlands, and Rowell Brook, the center offers three miles of hiking trails for visitors to explore ecosystems year-round. The center promotes responsible stewardship of the environment and offers hands-on programs to increase appreciation and understanding of the natural world. Special events and programs are held regularly for both youth and adults to interact with nature. Supported by a grant from the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, the center provides educational opportunities led by environmental educators and guest presenters. Visitors can download a trail map or visit the center to experience nature firsthand.
