Villa Lewaro, located at 67 North Broadway in Irvington, New York, is a historic institution that serves as a tourist attraction and a reminder of the remarkable life of Madam C.J. Walker, America's first self-made female millionaire. The Villa, designated as a National Historic Landmark in 1976, was the intellectual gathering place for notable leaders of the Harlem Renaissance.
