"Wanted school NYS medical from mailed. The staff said they will mail it. Never received the form. Called again to mail another form, still did not receive it. Staff are very rude saying they are short staff. Not acceptable."

"This is the worst practice run by Northwell. Two doctors are OK but the actual place is terrible. You can’t make an appointment in advance unless it’s a milestones appointment. When my child my was sick with a fever, I called the day of, to find out there were no appointments or no doctors to be seen. He was directed to a nurse practitioner almost each time. Every time I asked for my records to be released for another pediatrician, I was smooth talked into staying with the practice. Miraculously fitting us into the doctors “busy” schedule. The receptionist is extremely unhelpful and has an attitude. It’s just so unsettling that at time of need, there is no one to help and they make the process extremely difficult. One other office rule is that they don’t take forms via email. All school forms need to be dropped off for them to fill it out and then you need to picked up."

"I have a 6 month old baby who has been sick for about 3 months all they tell me is it’s a cold and nothing else they can do about it and now my son is sick again I call to make an appointment they have no sick appointment available switching pediatrics asap definitely don’t recommend here"

"I am disgusted with this practice. They made me an appointment for my toddler with head trauma for a follow up from the ER and then turned us away once we were there and refused to see my son! We just moved to the area a week ago. Our prior Cohens Children practice said to transfer to a new location, all we needed to do was call. This weekend, my toddler fell down an entire flight of stairs. The ER said to follow up with a pediatrician today. I made an appointment at this location and said right away I was new to this location but was a patient at another Cohen’s Children practice. They said no problem and made me an appointment. I showed up with my son, reviewed all of my information (which they had since I was Cohen Children’s patient, and brought us back for our appointment. As we were talking to the nurse who brought us back and giving a history, the lady from the desk returned and said since we were not existing patients we couldn’t be seen. I explained we were patients from another location and just moved a week ago. The lady at the desk was incredibly rude and continued to deny us the appointment made for us. She said it didn’t matter, the “service” shouldn’t have made us an appointment and that we couldn’t be seen and had to leave to go to urgent care or the ER. I asked if we could be seen as a courtesy for just this visit since we were there and it wasn’t our error. They refused. When I said, “Just to be clear, your office made a mistake and you are turning away a pregnant mother and her two year old with head trauma coming here at the direction of the ER and refusing to honor the appointment you made,” I was again told to go to urgent care. I called our old practice. They called immediately, we’re on hold for twenty minutes, and then told the office manager couldn’t speak to them. Hours later, once I had to drive to my old office in Queens, the office had yet to return the call. How incredibly disgusting."
