Welcome to the practice of Dr. Preeti Mehta, MD, a distinguished gastroenterologist and hepatologist serving the East Setauket community and beyond. Conveniently located at 235 North Belle Mead Avenue, Setauket- East Setauket, New York, Dr. Mehta is dedicated to providing top-tier healthcare services to her patients. Dr. Mehta is an integral member of the esteemed Digestive Disease Care team, which serves multiple locations across New York, including New Hyde Park, Lake Success, East Setauket, and Jericho. With an impressive educational background, Dr. Mehta graduated from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, followed by an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, NY. She further honed her expertise with a research fellowship in Hepatology at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, Weill Medical College of Cornell University, and Rockefeller University. Additionally, she completed an Advanced Endoscopic Fellowship in Endoscopic Ultrasound and a clinical fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University Hospital of the State University of New York in Syracuse.
