Urgent Care at Slocum-Dickson, located at 1729 Burrstone Road in New Hartford, New York, is a health institution offering prompt and personalized medical care for individuals over the age of 2 with minor, non-life-threatening health issues such as sprains, broken bones, cuts, backaches, job-related injuries, and common illnesses. While walk-ins are welcome, it is recommended to use the online check-in system to reserve an estimated time spot in the virtual queue to reduce wait times. The institution has a full professional staff and diagnostic and treatment resources on-site, including lab, x-ray, and physical therapy services. Patients referred by a physician’s office are encouraged to reserve their spot in the virtual queue online to ensure prompt care. Urgent Care hours are the same as the Laboratory and similar to Radiology, with CT Scans available until 6 pm and Ultrasounds until 4:30 pm Monday – Friday. CT Scans and Ultrasounds are not available on weekends. Routine physicals are available by appointment only for services such as summer camp, sports, college entrance, pre-employment, DOT, and life insurance.
