Our journey began in 1961 as Medford Assembly of God, and despite challenges, we have grown into a dynamic community that embodies the spirit of renewal and service. In 1997, with only a handful of members remaining, we experienced a revitalization that transformed us into a beacon of hope and influence within our community. At Axis Church, we are dedicated to making a meaningful impact on Long Island and beyond. Our mission is driven by compassion and a commitment to serving those in need. We have joyfully revitalized six churches back to health and focus on supporting the homeless, children with special needs, the foster care system, and soldiers with PTSD. Our family-friendly environment fosters a sense of belonging, and we firmly believe that Jesus is the center of everything we do.
