Welcome to Bethel Tabernacle AME Church, a historic and vibrant place of worship located at 90 Schenectady Avenue, Brooklyn, New York. Founded in 1847, we are proud to be the oldest Black Church in the Weeksville section of Brooklyn, serving as a beacon of faith, community, and resilience for over 175 years. At Bethel Tabernacle, we believe in the power of community and compassion. During the challenging times of the Global Coronavirus Quarantine, we extended our support by giving away free food to those in need, embodying our mission to serve and uplift our neighbors.
