"I wish I could leave 0 stars seriously. First off let’s talk about the registration staff-completely incompetent with staff who is clearly hired and brought from the ghetto. No sense of compassion or even an idea of how to speak to any person for that matter. I stood there in front of the desk for a good 15 minutes (no one else in line waiting to register) while staff ignored me and continued their conversation about inappropriate topics. The nurses in the triage area are hit or miss but the room is dirty and outdated. I came in for chest pain and was practically laughed at by the nurse. Once in the back, it took forever to even be spoken to and acknowledged. I was laying on a stretcher in the middle of the hallway with no privacy whatsoever. When a nurse finally came over to speak to me, she was nice but in a rush and barely let me fully explain what was going on. Honestly horrible hospital don’t waste time coming"
"This was the worst ER experience I've ever seen. Patients up and down the hallways all exposed and no privacy. Staff dressed in all kinds of random scrubs, hoddies and sweats. I couldn't tell one Personnel from another. All resident doctors who have no clue. Long wait times and fully understaffed! No one ever available. It's a scary place. BE AWARE!!"
"Absolutely horrible experience. We were put in triage around 12:00AM. and was not seen or talk to until 4:00AM. The nurse Tabitha was really nice and tried to help us as much as possible. PA Karly Blase had the worst attitude towards us by far. When we asked her why we were ignored for so long she replied "I'm here now but I can leave." this was highly unacceptable. She was not professional in any way and she was very rude. When we told her the Toradol was not working she replied "What do you want?" We came to the hospital for guidance for the issue and not to be asked "What do we want." Furthermore, at 4:30AM someone that came in immediately was a put in a room with similar symptoms to our situation. I understand that if the hospital is understaffed than they can attend to everybody right away but the least they can do is acknowledge us that they will be getting to us or asking for our information. I would like to express my gratitude toward the associate Jamal and the hospital Tech, Steve for helping us as much as possible. They were the only ones that would stop by and asking us if we were being attended to. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at an ER."
"If I could give negative stars I would. Waiting 4 hours while dizzy, nauseous, heart racing, fever and intense back pain is beyond unacceptable. Then to watch someone with similar symptoms who came to the ER many hours after you (but the difference is skin color) be escorted into a room with a nurse helping him immediately, while you sat there for hours on a gurney in the hallway crying from pain is a slap in the face. We had to ask MULTIPLE times and have MULTIPLE workers ask nurses to help me. Only to be walked passed by or told this is not my department. The utter lack of compassion was appalling. When PA KARLY D. BLASE finally came to me and I stated that I was waiting for hours and in pain and this was unacceptable, her exact words were "Well I am here now or I can leave" with such disdain and attitude because I wasn't speaking to her in a way she liked because I was in pain. She looked at me as if I was beneath her. Then she rushed to speak to me about my symptoms and stated what she was going to give me without addressing my pain. When I asked her what am I going to get for the pain because the Tordol did not work her exact words again was "well what do you want?". I had to tell her that I am not a doctor and I do not know what pain meds you give for a kidney infection. It seemed that she implied I was pill shopping for pain meds because why on earth would I know this info? Why would you not address the pain I am in when you came to me when I had tears in my eyes? Dogs are treated better than how I was by that lady. I would like to file a formal complaint against her. The other patient I mentioned earlier getting the 5 star treatment received labs, imaging and prompt help for kidney issues. Me? received NOTHING. All they did was a urine sample even though I told them I am having lower and upper back pain near my kidneys. I had to ask PA BLASE about my results because she failed to disclose that info. They didn't offer to see if I had kidney stones or any other underlying issues even after I told them I have been battling this issue for over a week. On a separate note, there needs to be a way for doctors and nurses to speak to the patients in a private way in the ER. I was able to hear the about a patient having 2 miscarriages and her possibility of having Hepatitis. We should not be hearing such personal and intimate info like that no matter what. I will commend Steve the tech and Jamal for trying to help me as much as possible. Jamal asked the nurses 3 times to help me but to no avail."
"After 2 visits to ER and waiting 12 and 15 hours each time, I was told my dad needed to be seen in their walk in dental clinic. Took him there and was told he needs dental surgery. It's been over 4 weeks and no surgery date has been given. Also no one returns my calls.. Not from Er , from patient experience or from dental clinic. I expected better from WMC."
