"I’ve been attending Elegante Nails salon for over 5 years now. It’s elegant clean and full of positive energy. I do everything in one spot except my lashes because I’ve been with my lash tech for over 8 years now. Pero the customer service is on point. Nails last one month in half. You won’t regret this place."

"Went to this salon to get a manicure and pedicure for my birthday. I had never been to a Dominican nail salon but I had hoped it would be similar to the Asian salons I’d frequent. It wasn’t lol. Pedicure: got this done first and I want to echo one of the other reviews for this business. They do not sterilize their tools. They reuse from the previous person and my pedicurist would simply dip the tools in the soapy water when needing to wipe them off. The lady working my toes only spoke Spanish and I could tell she was getting frustrated that my proficiency wasn’t high. The service was very mid, absolutely nothing special. She did nick my toes a couple times and was highly distracted from her phone and the environment around her. I don’t blame her for the latter since the whole salon is loud. Hair dryers, adults and children yelling on the top of their lungs. I’m also sure she was talking about me to the other stylists, as she literally pointed to me while talking to others. Of course chisme isn’t limited to just dominican salons but I think that being a black woman there didn’t help my case. Manicure: my stylist was better for this. She was more open to suggestion and criticism. Two of my fingers were bleeding and when I told her, she said “mhm”. Thankfully we were at the step of washing my hands but there was no aftercare to address the wounds. I think she did a decent enough job, I didn’t want anything marvelous just something cute for a birthday. My nails did feel very tight though those first 24 hrs which isn’t something I’m used to. All in all I give this place a 3. For a gel pedicure (no extensions) and a gel manicure with tips, everything came down to $115 ($40 pedi, $75 mani). This place is great if you need something quick and relatively simple. If you want something more complex and a better experience I’d go elsewhere as they didn’t have a lot of nail art supplies."

"I had chipped my color on the thumb of recently done nail manicure and needed a quick repair. I walked into the shop at 9:45 am and after only a 15 minute wait, I was taken care of by Margaret P. My only critique is that her work station could have been cleaner and wiped down,but the shop space is beautifully designed and decorated,and Margaret was so pleasant and her work well done!"

"I like the quality of the service here but it was pricy. I did mid length gel full set with different color polishes and they charged me $65, and $40 for plain gel pedicure. Also had to pay a service charge of $8 on top of the $105 I paid for my nails plus tip the ladies."

"My girl Maggie is the best! She does every design I want exactly like it! I love her!!! If you need someone who good, doesn’t rush and is sweet please go see her! She is worth it all!"
