Farmingdale State College Greenhouse, located in Farmingdale, New York, is part of the Department of Urban Horticulture & Design with a rich history dating back over 100 years. The department offers three degree options for those passionate about soil, seeds, flowers, and creative landscapes, providing students with a strong foundation in the green industry on Long Island. Students at the Greenhouse learn traditional techniques alongside cutting-edge technology in classrooms, studios, labs, and greenhouses. The renowned Robert F. Ench Teaching Gardens, a "living" classroom on 5 acres, offer hands-on experience and inspiration for students, as well as the campus and local community.

Though no longer administered by the local parish, Most Holy Trinity Cemetery is now under the dedicated care of Catholic Cemeteries of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn. Established in 1841 by Fr. John Stephen Raffeiner, the cemetery originally resided on Montrose Avenue and has since moved to its current location to accommodate the growing needs of the parish.
