This year, we honor the 190th anniversary of the Long Island Rail Road, the 60th anniversary of the LIRR Allan Herschel G-16 Park Train, and the 180th anniversary of the first train to Greenport. Our museum is dedicated to preserving and interpreting the rich history of Long Island's railroads. With facilities in both Riverhead and Greenport, we invite you to explore our collection of historic rail cars, locomotives, and interactive exhibits.
