Heart and Mind STEM Center, located at 520 South Oyster Bay Road in Hicksville, New York, is a school dedicated to nurturing young hearts and minds for a bright future. Our institution offers a unique American Sign Language program for Pre-K students, taught by experienced instructor Kamryn Shea. Research has shown that incorporating ASL into verbal communication can enhance vocabulary, spelling, and reading skills in preschool children. Our center believes in the importance of early language development, with babies as young as 6 months being able to learn basic sign language and communicate effectively. In addition to our innovative language program, Heart and Mind STEM Center also participates in community events such as the St. Jude Trike-A-Thon fundraiser, where students and parents come together to support a great cause.
