"Some thoughts; first Grapes and Grains used to be one of my favorite places to go to buy "adult beverages" great selection, friendly staff, and very reasonable prices. Key word here is "used to be" I recently visited to purchase a couple bottles and found out they no longer share a "Veterans" discount ONLY active military. So let me get this straight because I'm not dedicating my life 24/7 in the United States Navy on a submarine anymore that a Veteran can't get a 10% discount ONLY active military can. Ummm... Seems a bit off if you ask me. Let's face it there is a massive competitive market here in the capital district and I'm happy sharing my business with 3 other places that gladly accept a "Veteran" discount. Grapes and Grains you lost my business and and then some. Word of mouth is a powerful advertising tool."

"Fantastic staff and great selection. Prices are reasonable and they offer case wine discounts. They do not have a cooler, but they do have an express chiller if you have a couple minutes to let it chill. Definitely would recommend this place."
