Greek taverna in Syracuse, New York

The Syracuse Greek Festival, held at St. Sophia’s Church on Waring Road in Syracuse, New York, is a celebration of Greek culture and heritage. This annual event, now in its 51st year, features a wide variety of authentic Greek foods and desserts, live music and dance performances, and a marketplace selling Greek clothing, jewelry, and books. Visitors can also tour the church’s iconography project and enjoy the festive atmosphere under the outdoor “taverna” tent.
