Fronczak hall
Fronczak Hall is a prestigious institution located at 140 Mary Talbert Way in Amherst, New York, United States. This five-level building is home to the departments of Physics and Economics, featuring offices, a research library, and 500 research and instructional lab stations. The labs are specifically designed for the study of theoretical, high-energy, low temperature, and solid state physics. The building also boasts two astronomy observatories on its roof, providing a unique feature when entering the campus from 990-Exit 1. These observatories house telescopes used by the Physics department and the Astronomy Club for academic and research purposes. The institution is named after Francis E. Fronczak, a Buffalo native who was a renowned public health authority in the United States. Dr. Fronczak, who held both medical and law degrees from the University of Buffalo, served as commissioner of the Buffalo Health Department from 1919 to 1946. He was also recognized for his international relief efforts during World War I. Dr. Fronczak's dedication to public health and citizen welfare has left a lasting impact on the institution that bears his name.
Glen Park
Glen Park, located at 5565 Main Street in Williamsville, New York, is a beautiful park and tourist attraction near the scenic Glen Falls.
