Located at 714 Ridge Road, Lackawanna, New York 14218, we serve as the local government office dedicated to fostering economic growth and community development within the City of Lackawanna. Our department is committed to revitalizing the city and enhancing the quality of life for our residents through strategic planning, collaboration, and sustainable development initiatives. We are thrilled to announce several exciting projects that highlight our commitment to economic development and community enhancement. Recently, the City of Lackawanna has partnered with Empire Building Diagnostics (EBD) and IT FITZ Concrete to transform over 4.7 acres of long-vacant industrial property on Alliance Drive in the First Ward. These projects are set to create new jobs and stimulate economic activity in the area. EBD will expand its operations, adding 20-30 new jobs, while IT FITZ Concrete plans to build a new office and warehouse facility.
