Reviews
"Fabulous so many exhibits of not only Woodstock but also the culture and music of the 1960s. You can pay to go through the museum (well worth the price of admission). Or check out the grounds for free."
"An amazing venue. The new camping is really fantastic. Just finished a 3 day Phish run and all around good time. My only issue was with the venue itself. The concrete at the seat area is *significantly* sloped. While I am sure it makes clean up a breeze, it comes at the cost of patrons having their toes trying to burst through the front of your shoes. It caused significant discomfort to my legs. By the second night, they began swelling significantly. The museum staff are particularly friendly. We had a nice discussion with a staff member at the monument. Her first question was how did we like camping and asked for any suggestions. She really seemed to want the best experience possible."
"Ourselves and lifelong friends drove to Kingston, NY to stay near Woodstock. We went to the Bethel Museum and had a really wonderful visit. A Santana concert was being set up; we visited the entire museum, including the lower level. Beautiful displays and excellent videos running at all times. The concert movie was excellent. Lunch in the cafe was great."
"Was really nice, peaceful on the grounds. Lots of walking! We didn't go into the museum,.it's an extra cost and was sure my kids wouldn't remember any of it. Gift shop had lots of cool things from glassware to books and clothing."
"The center of it all! This museum is a must if you are there. The whole story with backgrounds and lot of information. You need time, as there are a lot of short interesting films to see for better understanding the times. Also a nice but pricy giftshop!"
