"I purchased a gift card this afternoon. Got home, realized it was never put into my ONE single bag at checkout by the cashier. Called 7 minutes after purchase to let them know I didn't receive it, but I still obviously have the receipt/activation receipt from 7 MINUTES prior. They stated there is nothing they can do. Gift card vendor will not void the card as I don't have the physical card BECAUSE IT WAS NEVER PLACED IN MY BAG AT CHECKOUT. Terrible customer service. This chain has been going downhill for years. Products and prices are high for the low quality you get anyways. I would highly recommend spending the extra $ at another store! Wegmans, Aldis, etc. Literally anywhere else. Beware of produce at this store (and most Tops locations honestly) as well-very often moldy under the surface within a day or two. Most locals know and try to avoid buying it from here unless they're in a pinch."
