Holiday Inn Express & Suites Buffalo-Airport, an IHG Hotel

"Stayed for a hockey tournament. Had a good stay. An older facility and changing hands. I enjoyed the features that were available. The rooms were clean and comfortable. What really stood out was the staff. Especially, Cheryl and Sandra(?) on continental breakfast, doing the best darn job they can in a small prep kitchen. I love Annie, she made my stay and my life better, I am blessed having met her, I wished she was my mom."

"DON’T STAY HERE! I wanted to be close to the airport and use the shuttle in the am to cross the street after a heavy snow. But after I checked in, the front desk let me know there are million scenarios that will lead to the shuttle not taking me, which they failed to mention in our phone call earlier for booking! In the morning although there was no additional snow since last night, and roads were open/clear and airport was operational, their shuttle status was still unclear “driver lives far!” and I was told to figure it out on my own! I walked to the nearby Hampton Inn in the cold and they were glad to take me with their shuttle! It is a 3min drive to the airport from the hotel but a 25min walk.. Very disappointed mainly due to lack of transparency, care and compassion."

"We selected this hotel because it was what Priceline gave us as the best offer around. Come to find out, Seneca Hotel & Casino was nearly $40 less than that per night. We checked in quickly and easily, but was a bit put off by the $10 "incidentals" charge right off the bat. We arrived in our room, and there was no wet bar and no snacks, so we were unsure what the $10 "incidentals" fee was for. There is no restaurant or bar in the hotel, so we left to have dinner at a local pub. Back in our room, I dropped an earring on the floor, and when I looked under the bed, there were several empty chip bags and other miscellaneous trash. Disgusting! We were shocked & horrified! The following morning, they had a "continental breakfast," which consisted of scrambled eggs, bacon and miscellaneous pastries, as well as juice and coffee. Everything was warm and fresh. Upon checking out, we were told that it would take 5 business days to get our $10 fee back. Unacceptable! Incidentals fee for what exactly when there's nothing in the room to charge me for? We were disappointed in the over charges and the dirty room. Check-in and check-out were fast and smooth."

"We unexpectedly were in town and initially staying 1 night and then considered staying a few more to complete necessary meetings. We inquired about extending and costs to extend and avoid going back and forth. Staff was unsure but got back to us and met all our needs including ideal room and budget. We didn't even have to switch which was appreciated as our toddler is with us. Will definitely return when needing to be in the area and would highly recommend. Added bonus are full size bathroom products, pool, hot tub and gym and proximity to airport if that's important."
