Located at 632 Old Town Road, Port Jefferson Station, New York, our department has been a cornerstone of safety and community service for over seven decades. Founded with the leadership of Harold Hoxie as our first Chief, we answered our inaugural call to a brush fire in August 1950. Since then, we have remained committed to our mission of saving lives, suppressing fires, and providing essential services such as EMS, rescue, fire prevention, and education.
