"I absolutely love Dr Owens… when I can actually talk to her… NYU’s phone system is impossible and it takes days to get a message to our doctor. We can’t ever get an actually human in the actual mattituck office, it’s always a call center who can only take messages and the whole process starts again. There is no way to actually talk to anyone there without showing up in person. My husband had an abnormal liver result in his physical and it’s been 2 weeks and we have yet to be able to speak to our doctor about his results.. it’s pure insanity… the on call people don’t even know the doctors and mis pronounce names."

"Dr Hough is amazing and I would give her 5 stars. The office staff is polite but their service is poor. The office staff can easily become confused over the phone. Be clear, ask them questions and verify their responses. I was told an order for bloodwork had been taken care of but unfortunately it was not. When trying to call the office on a Wednesday at 10am to resolve, their office phones were turned off until 10:15. I was then told it would take 20 minutes to send a fax for my bloodwork."
