"Our power went out in a storm on a Saturday night. Shortly after, our generator failed. My wife had me call iPower even though I was convinced I wouldn't get a response until Monday. She was right - I got a call right back from them and they walked me thru resetting the generator (apparently I shouldn't run all my A/C while on the generator). Their service was fantastic, especially considering it was a Saturday night. Highly recommended!!!"

"Based on some NextDoor recommendations, we called iPower when the power was restored after the storm Isaiah, asking for a quote on a standby. I was expecting, obviously, a lengthy wait, long waitlist, or at least some information on how to prepare for a quote. The receptionist was hasty, granted with emergency service calls, but told us to call back "in like 3 weeks or so". Putting it on the customer to call back after 3 weeks?! How hard is it to take a name, number, and put your potential customer on a prioritized wait-list? Or better yet, schedule an appointment a month from now? Just a thought. How well a generator company handles not just existing customers, but potential customers (a boon after major outages for their line of business) in crisis, to me is a hallmark of how it will be to deal with them overall. We'll be going with the most professional and responsive company to do the work now, and it was definitely not iPower (2 out of the 5 generator companies responded right away, one immediately scheduled an appointment 3 weeks from now). Overwhelmed is not the feeling I want to have coming from a lifeline company like iPower during a massive storm and power outage. It's quite literally what they should shine at."
