Housed in a historic building that has been serving the community since 1914, our library is one of the original Carnegie-funded branches, offering a rich tradition of learning and community engagement.
At Woodstock Library, we offer a diverse collection of books, access to Wi-Fi, computers, and a variety of classes and programs designed to entertain and educate people of all ages. Our newly expanded Teen Center, made possible by Google.org, is a hub for creativity and learning, providing tech equipment, art materials, and more.
Please note that our elevator is currently out of order. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Additionally, in accordance with new Library policy, e-bikes, e-scooters, and electronic transportation devices are not permitted inside any NYPL location, except for mobility aids.

"Good afternoon, i think that the library hours need to be updated if y’all are going to close and get everyone out before 6pm. I think having posted that the library closes at 6 pm and restrooms close 15 mins prior and staff is getting ready to head out the door with their book bags and jackets at 5:50pm does not align with having the library close at 6pm. Posting a 6 pm closing time is misleading when patrons are asked to leave by 5:50 pm. It creates confusion and disrupts plans, as people expect services to be available until the stated time. Clear communication about actual closing procedures would be appreciated. I hope that y’all can update with new times are actually change what time y’all close."
"Horrible service went in around 535 and was told I can't use the computer till the next day. Yet, they close at 6pm. I just needed to print out 2 papers. It would've taken 2 minutes. I prefer you choose another Library."

"I’ll go a little bit in depth. The library itself is modern looking, it’s quiet and it just feels great to be in. The internet is my only issue. Some days it fluctuates between 60Mbs and other days 1Mbs which is extremely annoying if you’re going to download 80GB+ of data. These red chairs are the epitome of uncomfortable-you’re at a weird sitting angle. Other than that this library is perfect. Thanks to the staff for their services!"
