"There's a library in walking distance from where I live. However, I found myself taking the Bx 39 bus to Allerton Library. Somewhat small, but has everything. The Manager vision is awesome and his staff play a significant part, in bringing it to life. They host different programs for free and willing to conduct one to one computer lesson when necessary. Their professionalism, kindness and courtesy always greet you with a warm welcome. Visit and share the experience."
"It's not so big but what it lacks in size it more than makes up for with its staff and BOOKS. There are computers and a lounge to read the daily papers and a children's section. You can't go wrong it's local"
"I love this library. I go here to do all my college assignments. Computers and laptops are always available. It's always clean and its never really to busy in there. Setting space is always available. The staff there is very helpful and friendly. It's easy to get a library card and take out a book. Copies are only 0.20 cents a page. You can pay by cash/card/or phone. The bathroom there, they keep clean."
"Good Day, Thank you so much for the opportunity to visit the Allerton Library today. We've visited many libraries before but this visit was the most informative. The info session was by far my best. I really enjoyed how you took time to listen to the children, answer their questions, and gave them agency. All the best, Ms. Hurley"
"I have been going to Allerton library since 2018 and love their children’s program’s! The whole second floor is dedicated to children and they even have a huge play space with toys and such for toddlers. The whole staff is amazing and friendly, they feel like family. What an amazing resource to have in the neighborhood!"
