Nestled within the scenic South Shore Nature Center, our preschool offers a pioneering nature-based education program for children ages 3 to 6. Guided by the belief that it’s never too early to cultivate a connection with nature, our curriculum combines environmental education with traditional play-based learning, providing children with a rich, hands-on experience. Our program, inspired by the spirited Spring Peeper frog, is the first of its kind in Suffolk County. It offers two daily sessions, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., five days a week. Children will explore and learn through activities that integrate science, art, music, math, language & literacy, and dramatic play, all through the lens of the natural world.
