    Aurora Athletics

“Working with Coach Mohamed and Coach Nelly was an amazing experience. I usually workout on my own and successfully reach my weight goals using HIIT but I was in an accident in November that resulted in my ankle being severely injured and my orthopedist told me that I could no longer do high intensity workouts. Through my mobility being impaired and being on bedrest I gained weight. I wanted to learn safe ways to workout and at the same time strengthen my ankle. My sister introduced me to Aurora Athletics and there the coaches took their time with me, they were very considerate and empathetic to my needs. I trained at Aurora Athletics for 6 weeks and I am happy to say that today I am strong enough to return to training on my own. THANK YOU SO MUCH COACHES !!! I could not have done it without yall!”

    Soundview Library

“I’ve been coming to this branch since I was a child, and now I have the pleasure of bringing my daughter to one of my favorite places! I love the staff, they are so friendly and helpful, the library is always clean & there are plenty of books, resources, free tutoring & activities for everyone. They are currently giving away free books which they update often, and I have found some really great read so for myself and my daughter. My daughter is in second grade and got her first chapter book from the library’s free collection. She’s really has an interest in reading and is reading at a fourth grade level. I am grateful for this gem in Soundview. It’s important to keep our libraries open for the youth.”

    Stadium Tennis Center

“I have been wanting to sign up for a beginner class here for awhile. Have been in communication with Andy & the other evening he put me in a class with a wonderful instructor named Matt. After I hit 3-4 forehands, Matt quickly diagnosed all the issues with my forehand. Matt helped me understand the proper grip & footwork for volleys. He even had this cool way to locate the continental grip on the racket. Matt also mentioned the arm should be more relaxed when serving or stroking. I had no idea how I was going to relax my arm, but the other day I was serving during a practice match & voila my arm relaxed on its own. Thank you, Andy & Matt!”
