"My daughter had her follow up appointment after recently being rushed to the ED with croup and stridor where she received racemic treatments and steroids … At the follow up appointment I was told that stridor is not a big deal and kids can have for hours …. We seen Carol Cooley. I don’t think she knew that I was a nurse for 9 years primarily in ICU and ED. Stridor is a medical emergency because if left untreated the airway can be completely closed off…… A few hours later my daughter started having ear pain and I realized Cooley never checked her ears. Called back and was on hold for 20 mins to discover that she documented both ears being clear …. And I could not get another appointment that day … went to urgent care and of course she had an ear infection… I will be switching pediatricians… giving out horrible advice to let your child sit with stridor for hours with the potential of closing off the airway, and falsely documenting patient assessment. I am very upset with our appointment today …."

"Edit: just want to add, they've responded to this review within 20 minutes of me posting it, but they somehow STILL haven't returned our messages about my sons fever. What an absolute joke of a practice. Lousy Doctor. It's physically impossible to schedule a sick visit. Their hours are listed as 7 am to 7 pm but the phone lines open at 8, (not that they'll answer anyway), and they don't list when the phone lines close. Well it's definitely before 5 pm because we called around that time and still no answer. All you get is an answering service where a random nurse from Virginia calls you back and doesn't help. Even when their office hours are open they refuse to answer the phone. It absolutely should not be this difficult to schedule a sick visit. My son has had a fever for 5 days and they don't care one bit. Immediately finding a new Pediatrician and I'm spreading the word to all the moms in the Southtowns, BEWARE! Will be sharing my experience on all social media platforms to try and save other parents from this nightmare."

"Just thought I’d share my positive experience with this office. I have been taking my daughter to WNY peds since she was born in 2018, and we now take my son here who was born last year in 2022. Now, throughout those years I have moved away from the southtowns living even as far as North Tonawanda and most parents would usually want to switch doctors for convenience of being closer to their peds office, but I could not justify leaving this office just for the convenience of myself. I will travel far and wide to get my kids the care they deserve, and we have seen nothing but compassion at this peds office. We have seen quite a few of the pediatricians here, and we can say we equally love them all! The front desk staff is always so kind and patient with us as well. One of the main reasons we picked this pediatricians office is because they do have sick hours on Saturdays. Every time I’ve called to get my kids in for a sick visit, they were seen same day within a normal timeframe even throughout Covid. When I decided to breastfeed my first child, they had the lactation specialist come in and guide us through all of our concerns. when I decided against breastfeeding for my second child, I felt supported in that decision as well. They have always listened to my concerns and never brushed them off, even looking back and seeing how silly some of the sick appointments I made as a first time mom. They can’t get enough praise from me or my kids, I truly enjoy coming to this practice."

"My daughter has been terrified at the doctor after a bad experience. I have been taking her here for the past two years and could not be happier. They work so well with her to calm her anxiety. I love that they have a therapy dog to help relax the children. I am truly impressed with the extra time given to my daughter to make her feel safe. All the staff has been very welcoming and kind at every visit. I love that they have walk in sick appointments, which has helped me on a few occasions. Very impressed with this practice! Will definitely recommend."

"I like that if my child wakes up sick, they have a walk in sick clinic. Unfortunately out of their control certain scheduling issues, because they are so popular. True that you must schedule well appointments a year in advance. Although is your child has mental health or physical issues they will get you in to care for specialized problems."
