Plattsburgh Memorial Chapel
The Plattsburgh Memorial Chapel is a beautiful and historic non-denominational church located in Plattsburgh, New York. Situated on the former US Air Force base, this multi-dimensional chapel was dedicated in 1933 in memory of those who served in World War I. Constructed of weathered bricks and featuring original wrought iron chandeliers and pews donated by the 26th infantry, the chapel is a true testament to the history of the area. After sitting empty for years, it has been reopened as a non-profit institution available for a variety of events including religious services, weddings, art exhibits, and music concerts. Governed by an elected board of directors, the Plattsburgh Memorial Chapel is a welcoming and inclusive place of worship and community gathering.
