Opera House Tenants’ Union (ohtu) is an institution located at 25 Arion Place in New York, United States. The institution is collectively run by Chelsea Spencer, Sylvie Wise, Richard Maguire, Kelsey Fairhurst, and Bryant Wells. Chelsea Spencer, a Ph.D. candidate in the History, Theory, and Criticism of Architecture and Art program at MIT, conceptualized and researched the institution. ohtu aims to address safety and living conditions issues in their building, which have been neglected by their landlords.
