The Center for India Studies is located at SUNY at Stony Brook in Stony Brook, New York, United States. Recently, the Harvard University Press published an English translation of the Kannada Mahabharata edited by the Center Director. The Center also announced the appointment of Sthaneshwar Timalsina as the new Mattoo Endowed Chair in Classical Indic Humanities.
