"Came in to the shop to buy an ash catcher on my way home from work today. Decent selection of what I was looking for - all at pretty similar prices. I ended up going with the 5” Hipster Triple Honeycomb ash catcher and was happy with my purchase as it seemed to made be of quality glass and was a good value compared to the other options. That was until I got home. I placed the ash catcher in my piece to admire how it looked. Upon doing so, the stem of the ash catcher snapped in two places near the top and is now useless. I figured I would call the shop on the phone to let them know what had happened. And because I had just been in there about 20 minutes prior to purchase the ashcatcher, I imagined they wouldn’t have a problem exchanging it for a different piece. Instead they told me they couldn’t do anything at all, other than sell me another one at full price. This piece should not have broken that way from me placing it into the down-stem of my bong. So, I’m not sure whether I just received a defective unit or what. But overall, I’m disappointed by how it was handled by Smokey Smoke Shop and will probably choose a different shop in the future. Now, I’m not saying this is character of the shop regarding the quality of glass. It was just my experience, however, I think it’s definitely something to keep in mind."
