Advent Lutheran Church
Welcome to Advent Lutheran Church, a warm and welcoming place of worship located at 200 Legion Avenue, Mattituck, New York, just half a block north of Rt. 25 at the intersection with the Speedway. As a proud member of the Metropolitan New York Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, we invite you to join us in our weekly celebrations of Holy Communion. Together, we gather in the name of God: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, to hear the Good News and share the Sacraments. Under the guidance of our interim Pastor, Rev. Dr. Charles R. Vogeley, we strive to be a church where all ages can feel at home. Our services feature inspiring hymns such as "All Creatures, Worship God Most High," "Lord, Let My Heart Be Good Soil," "O Word of God Incarnate," "He Is Lord," and "Praise God, From Whom All Blessings Flow." Our choristers, Marilee Scheer and Todd Suprina, lead us in song under the leadership of Kathy Richards.
