Swedish Cottage Marionette Theatre
The Swedish Cottage Marionette Theatre, located in Central Park on West 79th Street in New York, has been delighting audiences with its innovative marionette productions based on children's classics for decades. Starting January 18, 2024, the beloved show "Bessie's Big Shot" will return to the Cottage, featuring the adventurous tale of a cow dreaming of joining the circus. Watch Bessie attempt daring feats in this family-friendly variety show on Thursdays through Sundays at 11AM and 1PM. Please note that the Swedish Cottage Marionette Theatre is currently not available for birthday party rentals. For school group rates, contact (212) 879 0794 or email swedishcottage@cityparksfoundation.org. Proof of vaccination, temperature checks, and health screenings are no longer required to enter the theatre, but masks are strongly encouraged.
