This park offers a variety of outdoor activities including hiking, horseback riding, cross-country skiing, and downhill skiing. There are also playgrounds, soccer fields, and a scout/youth camping area. The park features two lodges available for rent, the Ski Lodge and the Knollwood Lodge, both equipped with amenities for gatherings and events. One of the highlights of Northampton Park is the newly opened natural playground, featuring fallen logs, tunnels, swings, and a log cabin fort for children to enjoy. This playground was created using materials harvested from County parks and was designed and built by Parks staff. The park also houses the Springdale Farm, an agricultural education facility open to the public and operated by Heritage Christian Services.
