The preserve offers maintained hiking trails, a wooden footbridge, and research opportunities in topics such as rock species, soil creep, snow thickness, and storm drainage. The Friends of the Nature Preserve group, made up of faculty, staff, students, and community members, work to preserve the natural areas on campus and in Broome County.
