Congregation Sons of Israel
Welcome to Congregation Sons of Israel, a vibrant and welcoming synagogue located at 2115 Benson Avenue, Brooklyn, New York 11214. As a cherished place of worship, our synagogue serves as a beit tefilah, a house of prayer, where members of the Jewish community gather for meaningful prayer services. While individual prayer is always encouraged, certain prayers hold special significance when recited in the presence of a minyan, a quorum of ten adult men, enhancing the spiritual experience for all involved. Beyond serving as a house of prayer, Congregation Sons of Israel is also a beit midrash, a house of study, fostering lifelong Jewish learning and education. Our well-stocked library offers a wealth of sacred Jewish texts, providing opportunities for personal growth and communal study. We proudly support the religious education of children, ensuring that the study of sacred texts continues to be a cornerstone of our community.
